It’s that time to summarize oneself - I'm Gustav
My passion for design started as a child, influenced by my grandmother who’s an artist. I spent summers painting with her, exploring the naval city she lives in through water-color.
With this curiosity for design I one day found myself behind the sewing machine and I began my studies as a fashion designer. Nowadays I express myself through different elements, whether it’s through stitching pixels together, putting things in motion or working creatively developing concepts. I'm a problem solver at heart, always challenging myself to create astonishing work.
I love music and rhythm, it flows through everything I create. I listened to Spotify for over 82 days last year, the rest of the time I was probably listening through Soundcloud.

Currently Designer at Wieden+Kennedy in Amsterdam.

”My experience of working with Gustav is very positive, he is always willing to learn and help the team in any way necessary. He possesses excellent visual references and good taste, which helps a lot in the conceptual part, besides being extremely skillful in all the software that we work with. Gustav was directly involved in some major projects that will air this year, helping the team in both conceptual and production mode. He is very confident and aware of his qualities, very communicative, very creative and very participative.
We are delighted to have him on our team here at B-reel”

“I have had the pleasure of working with Gustav as he has contributed with various illustrations for Doctors Without Borders (Médecins Sans Frontiers). I have found him to be very attentive to our needs as an organization, and he has done a very good job communicating how he has understood the assignment, including tentative timelines and costs. Also, he has made me feel involved throughout the process by asking for clarifications and more information when needed.
